Hello, my name is Mrs G I’m the Wellbeing Support Assistant here at school. I have a background in psychology and counselling and have worked with children in various capacities for over 30 years. I love crafts and my current obsession is crocheting.
My role is to employ a child-centred approach, offering a calm, quiet, nurturing space where children feel heard and are safe to explore their feelings. Whether a child is facing challenges with emotions, friendships, changes of circumstance or just needs someone to talk to, I’m happy to help.
I am here to listen to, support and help children develop strategies to manage their emotions, build resilience and feel confident both in and out of the classroom.
I work closely with teachers and parents to make sure every child feels supported and understood, and I believe that with the right tools and care, every student can thrive.
