On Monday, the whole school gathered in Horley Baptist Church for our annual Harvest festival. 

We celebrated with a variety of whole school songs and then each year group presented something that reminded them of Harvest.  Year 1 recited a poem, Year 2 retold the story of the Great Big Turnip, Year 3 displayed their observational drawings, Year 4 recited a poem alongside their art work, and Year 5 and 6 performed harvest poems. 

It is always heartwarming to see how generous everybody is with the donation of food for the local food bank and this encourages the children to think of those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
