Hello,
My name is Louise Boakes, and I’m the Home School Link Worker (HSLW) here at Manorfield.
My role is all about supporting children by building strong, positive relationships between families and school. I work closely with both parents and staff to identify any issues that may be affecting a child’s learning, wellbeing, or behaviour—and to ensure those issues are addressed early and effectively.
My goal is to help break down any barriers that might be preventing a child from thriving. Whether it's support with routines, attendance, behaviour, or accessing external services, I’m here to help. I also work directly with children who may be struggling emotionally or socially, helping them to build confidence, feel safe, and stay engaged in their learning.
Ultimately, my role is to make sure that school and home are working together in the best way possible—so that every child can come into school feeling happy, supported, and ready to reach their full potential.
How can I help you?
I offer:
My door is always open. I’m available in school from Monday to Wednesday. You’re very welcome to contact me by emailing hslw@manorfield.surrey.sch.uk or by calling the school office to book an appointment.
